USING SER IN THE NEGATIVE FORM. (1ST PERSON)

When saying you are not something you would put “no” before the verb ser. For example: I am not tall.

USING SER IN THE NEGATIVE FORM. (3RD PERSON)

In Spanish to make the sentence negative you add “no” before the verb ser. For example: He is not tall.

Él no es alto.She is not short.Ella no es baja.You are not red head.Usted no es pelirrojo. He is not artistic.Él no es artístico. She is not athletic.Ella no es atlética.

USING SER IN THE NEGATIVE FORM.

(3RD PERSON) When you want to say he/she/you are not but

you are something else you use “pero” For example: She is not short but is tall.

Ella no es baja pero es alta. He is not brunette but is red head.

Él no es moreno pero es pelirrojo.You are not funny but are smart.

Usted no es cómico pero es inteligente.She is not artistic but is athletic.

Ella no es artística pero es atlética.
