Description: The competition consists in the refurbishment of the restaurant & service area of the shopping mall M-40 in MadridBy a textil large cover is intended to unify an area currently highly rigid and fragmented achieving an organic, flowing space. Role: Co-author

Description: The task was designing the new facilities for Research, Development and Innovation in the waterfront of Sestao, a city located in Bilbao metro area with a strong industrial tradition and identity.The aim of the design is creating a functional building which exhibites, thoughout shapes, materials and surfaces the formal and aesthetic possibilities of steel.Role: project architect at [baragaño] | design, drawings, images and layout

Description: The competition goal was the recovery of the old Avilés fish market as a cultural place.The proposal consists in a multifunctional and flexible space, capable to adapt to changing needs. Fish Market renovation in Avilés harbour [Asturias, Spain] 2012

Description: The competition aim is the design of a small café and restaurant prototype, capable of being repeated along the harbour waterfront.The design proposes a space with open views to the tidal river, integrated with the waterfront promenade by means of its accessible roof, which is transformed in a new leisure space in the area.Role: project architect at [baragaño] | design, drawings, images and layout

Description: A fragmented building is laid out, composed by different pieces integrated in the sorrounding space as if they were ice blocks. This elements are linked together by a glazed ‘ribbon’ that allows both the enjoyment of the amazing local landscape and the optimization of the characteristic poor natural light of the place. GöSTA Museum enlargement, Mänttä [Finland] 2011

Description: The design consists in a multi-purpose building with cultural facilities such as local library, exhibition rooms, small auditorium, etc.The building closes to the north face [local weather is typically cold, windy and rainy], thus creating a bright and sunny open-air area as an extension of the building hall, trying to create a new place for community gathering .Role: architectural assistant at Icaria Arquitectura | images and layout

Cultural Center in Entrambasaguas [Cantabria, Spain] 2008

Description: The building aim is to manage the technologycal park as well as offer renting offices to different small and starting companies.The ground floor basement contains the common spaces serving both the management and the rental areas. Offices lay in two buildings designed as milestones that reflect the technologycal character of the zone.Role: architectural assistant at Icaria Arquitectura | images and layout
