INVITATION TO PRAYER Amazing GraceAmazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found. Was blind, but now I see.Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come;‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.
LISTENING FOR THE VOICE OF GOD Tricia Guerrero
SILENT PRAYER & PASTORAL PRAYER
THE LORD’S PRAYEROur Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
WE OFFER OUR GIFTS & OURSELVES Nathan OneyYour continued fi nancial support of the church is now more important than ever. You may mail your gift to the church or drop it into the mail slot of our offi ces any day of the week. You may also give online at www.santamonicaumc.org/give, or mail checks through your online banking programs. You may continue to earmark gifts for our various mission projects. May God grow in us generous and joyful hearts. Thank you.
OFFERTORY Anand Darcie, soloTake My Life, and Let It Be Consecrated (Mark Hayes) Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee. Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise. Take my hands and let them move at the impulse of Thy love. Take my feet and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee. Take my voice and let me sing always, only, for my King. Take my lips and let them be filled with messages from Thee. Take my will and make it Thine; it shall be no longer mine. Take my heart, it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne. Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Thy feet its treasure store. Take myself and I will be ever, only, all for Thee.
UNISON PRAYER OF DEDICATION Nathan OneyGreat and eternal God, we bring forth gifts of thanksgiving offered for a world in need. We praise you for your church and its witness. Breathe new life into each of us today. May our gifts and our lives be strengthened by your Spirit and further the ministries of your church. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
