Mis queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,

Gracias por unirse a un servidor en el apoyo a los ministerios diocesanos, a través de la Campaña Anual del Obispo. Su compromiso fi nanciero es esencial en el empoderamiento de nuestros ministerios y sus esfuerzos para compartir la Buena Nueva y servir a la comunidad católica. Debido a su generoso apoyo, el entrenamiento de los seminaristas para el sacerdocio, los programas sociales y de servicios, la formación religiosa y los programas de extensión parroquiales locales, son posibles. Because of your generous support, seminarian training for the priesthood, social and service programs, religious formation and local parish outreach programs are possible. Each of these programs has made a profound impact on thousands of individuals and families in the faith community of El Paso and West Texas.

PROGRESS ALLOCATIONS IN 2015Funds collected for the Bishop’s Ministry Appeal support an extraordinary range of services to parishes as well as to the people of theCatholic Diocese of El Paso. In 2015, the Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso distributed $1,350,000 to 17 diocesan ministries.

THE BISHOP’S ANNUAL APPEAL FOR CATHOLIC MINISTRIES SUPPORTS A WIDE ARRAY OF DIOCESAN PASTORAL SERVICES. . .

EDUCATION & FORMATIONTepeyac Institute offers a variety of certification programs and assist parishes in the formation of needed ministries. 2,000 parishioners are directly affected by the continued work of this ministry in offering classes and bringing parishioners to a greater understanding of their faith.

PASTORAL OUTREACHThe Marriage and Family Ministry promotes and strengthens family life in the Diocese of El Paso through marriage enrichment opportunities and preparation for the Sacrament of marriage. Each year, over 12,000 families are directly impacted by the services provided.

WEST TEXAS SISTERS’ MINISTRY The West Texas Sisters’ Ministry provides pastoral ministry in collaboration with clergy in the nine rural counties of the diocese. Through Evangelization, Religious Formation and Youth Programs, the Sisters help to make the Church present and promote commitment and leadership among the laity.

FORMACIÓN DE SEMINARISTAS Y DIACONADO Cada año, la mayor asignación de la Campaña Anual del Obispo para los Ministerios Católicos se hace directamente en apoyo a esos hombres que se están preparando para una vida de ordenación y servicio para la Diócesis de El Paso.

EDUCACIÓN Y FORMACIÓNEl Instituto Tepeyac ofrece una variedad de programas de certificación, además de ayudar a las parroquias en formar ministerios, los cuales son muy necesarios. 2,000 feligreses se ven directamente beneficiados por el continuo trabajo de este ministerio, ya que este ofrece diferentes tipos de clases, llevando a los fieles a una mayor comprensión de su fe.

ALCANCE PASTORALEl Ministerio de Matrimonio y Vida Familiar promueve y fortalece la vida familiar en la gran comunidad que es la diócesis de El Paso a través de oportunidades de enriquecimiento para el matrimonio y la preparación para el sacramento del matrimonio. Cada año, más de 12,000 familias se ven direct-amente beneficiadas por estos servicios otorgados.

MINISTERIO DE LAS HERMANAS DEL OESTE DE TEXAS El Ministerio de las Hermanas en el Oeste de Texas ofrece ministerio pastoral en colaboración con el clero, en los nueve condados rurales de la diócesis. A través de la Evangelización, la Formación Religiosa y los Programas para los Jóvenes, las Hermanas ayudan a hacer presente a la Iglesia y a promover el compromiso y el liderazgo entre los laicos.
