Sub: Review of Progress of Expenditure up to the month of June 2016

On review of Progress of Expenditure under Major Heads 2076 & 4076, Minor

Head – 107 – ECHS in respect of Army and Major Head 2077 & 4076-02 in respect of Navy, up

to the month of June 2016, HQrs has observed vide the letters under reference that there is

slow pace of expenditure under the above mentioned Code Heads vis-à-vis Budget Allocation

for the Financial Year 2016-17. The statements showing the details are enclosed as

‘ANNEXURE- A’ & ‘ANNEXURE- B’.

Since the PCDA / CDA wise allocation is not available in HQrs Office, it is not

possible to pin point a particular Office. It is therefore requested to review the Expenditure

booked under aforesaid Code Heads, in the light of Budgetary Allocation 2016-17 available at

your end & reasons for low booking may please be intimated to ‘Accounts-II’ Section of Main

Office, to enable this Office to render consolidated reply to HQrs Office.

In case of Low Bookings observed at your end, necessary efforts may please be

taken to accelerate the pace of expenditure, so that, the rush of Expenditure in the Last

Quarter of the Financial Year could be avoided.
