El següent recull bibliogràficestà organitzat en sis gransblocs que agrupen les prin-cipals temàtiques conreadesen allò que avui anomenemantropologia del temps. Elprimer apartat reuneix elsestudis teòrics, que són elsmenys nombrosos a causa,precisament, de la relativa
joventut d’aquest nou campd’estudi de l’antropologia. Eltreball més important enaquest sentit és el d’AlfredGell. El monogràfic publicata la revista Current Anthropo-logy l’any 2002 i el volum edi-tat per James i Mills el 2005són també molt remarca-bles, per això els hem inclòsen aquest primer apartat,malgrat que haguem des-glossat el seu contingut dinsdels apartats que vénen des-prés. El segon apartat és elmés característic de l’antro-pologia del temps, ja quetracta de les percepcions irepresentacions socials deltemps. El tercer apartatsobre el còmput del tempsés, malgrat el seu interès,menys estudiat avui quedurant el període de l’etno-grafia clàssica. En el quartpunt hem reunit treballs quel’antropologia del tempscomparteix amb centresd’interès més arrelats en ladisciplina, com són la histò-
ria, la memòria i, vinculat aaquestes, el lloc com a basede l’antropologia de l’espai idel paisatge, que és la mate-rialització del temps. El cin-què punt reuneix tots aquellsestudis que a través deltemps aborden l’estructurasocial en el parentiu, l’eco-nomia, la religió, etc. Final-ment hem cregut que seriaútil completar aquesta biblio-grafia amb altres estudis
sobre el temps que d’algunamanera han marcat el pen-sament contemporani i haninfluït, per tant, també enl’antropologia.
