CBP y respuesta incompleta al AUDC.
1. Levy C Am J Gastroenterol 2018; 113:56–57; 2. Lammers WJ et al . Neth J Med 2016;74:240–246.

hepatocitos”• Inmumomodulador (Anti‐inflamatorio)

• Patients receiving UDCA have a delayed rate of histological progression to cirrhosis1
• Using Barcelona criteria, biochemical response to UDCA after 1 year is associated with a similar survival to the matched control population2
• Survival of patients without biochemical response was lower than that estimated for the Spanish population (P<0.001) although higher than that predicted by the Mayo model2

• Lower ALP and bilirubin levels were associated with longer transplant‐free survival time
Lammers WJ, et al. Gastroenterology. 2014;147(6):1338‐1349.e5.
“Alkaline phosphatase and bilirubin levels strongly correlate with the ultimate outcomes of death and liver transplantation in patients with PBC; the lower the alkaline phosphatase and bilirubin levels the better the transplant‐free survival times. This robust analysis suggests that these variables can reasonably beregarded as useful surrogate end points in clinical trials.” – Global PBC Study Group
