Introducción
Russia is known for its military history but also has a great culture and tradition in the areas of arts
and sciences.
The following tips are for visitors to know about the customs, traditions and places of Russia

Lugares
The most important historical places in Russia are: the Red Square in Moscow, the buildings
surrounding the Square are: the south is the Saint Basil's Cathedral
On the eastern is the GUM department store, and next to it the restored Kazan Cathedral.
The northern side is occupied by the State Historical Museum.
other important places are the Peterhof Palace and the hermitage museum.
Los lugares históricos más importantes en Rusia son: la Plaza Roja de Moscú, los edificios que
rodean la plaza son: el sur está la Catedral de San Basilio
En la zona oriental está la tienda por departamentos GUM, y junto a ella la restaurada Catedral
de Kazán. El lado norte está ocupado por el Museo Estado Histórico.

the Russian public holidays are Defender of the Fatherland Day (23 February), which honors
Russian men, especially those serving in the army; Spring and Labor Day (1 May); Victory Day (9
May) ; Russia Day (12 June); and Unity Day (4 November), commemorating the popular uprising
which expelled the Polish occupation force from Moscow in 1612.

Los días festivos de Rusia son el Día del Defensor de la Patria (23 de febrero), que honra a los
hombres rusos, especialmente los que sirven en el ejército, la primavera y el Día del Trabajo (1de mayo), Día de la Victoria (9 de mayo), Día de Rusia (12 de junio); y el Día de la Unidad (4 de
noviembre), que conmemora el levantamiento popular que expulsó a las fuerzas de ocupación
polaca de Moscú en 1612.

It is common for Russian people to use coats or jackets in all the year but only in winter in Peru.
