Interpretación geométrica de la derivada parcial: - Tenemos un superficie z=f(x,y), derivando respecto x y un punto(xo,yo,zo),dejando constante y, se consigue un plano que pasa por el punto y=y0 de valor fijo, y a su vez es paralelo al eje x. - Este plano corta la superficie f(x,y), en la curva intersección consideramos la recta tangente en el punto x0,y0,z0. - La derivada parcial nos dará la pendiente de esta recta.
