We believe it is a very important time to unite new ideas to foster new behavior patterns consistent with efficiency and rational use of resources.

Help establish some bases for Mobility Demand Management (MDM) in the various fields, promoting good practice and encouraging demonstration of the efficiency of MDM:

43 - Construcción de más infraestructuras de transportes colectivos y alternativos a lacarretera. Adecuación y construcción de una oferta basada en ofrecer alternativas al vehículo y la carretera, potenciando y priorizando el ferrocarril en todas sus modalidades y ámbitos territoriales, e incremento de medios para acceder al transporte sostenible (transporte colectivo, a pie y bicicleta).

42.- Construcción de nuevas carreteras y extensión de los trabajos de reconstrucción de los existentes. Las políticas continuistas basadas únicamente en la construcción de más carreteras, cada vez tienen menos sentido. El mantenimiento de ésta actividad con la misma intensidad, incentiva esquemas tradicionales en los que se fomenta exclusivamente la vía del automóvil. Se percibe la necesidad de establecer medidas que regulen la construcción de más carreteras bajo determinados criterio (p.ej. four stage principel)

24.- Niveles de adecuación a hábitos y costumbres con pautas de movilidad sostenibles. Entrada de una nueva cultura de movilidad bajo esquemas de sostenibilidad. Establecimiento y cumplimiento de objetivos para reconducir y adecuar los hábitos de movilidad, integrando nuevos valores y actitudes (Libro Verde: Hacia una nueva cultura de la movilidad urbana).

19.- Índices de motorización. Nivel del transporte motorizado debido a un mantenimiento a la alza de los niveles de posesión. El aumento de vehículos en la sociedad nos aleja de la pautas de sostenibilidad y contribuye a un aumento de las externalidades del sistema de transporte.
