CONCLUSIONES

Anlisis y comparacin de la velocidad de rotacin de las bombas BC-201A-R y BC-1-2

La carga esttica se estim 5 cm arriba de la parte superior de la succin de la bomba hasta la entrada al tanque distribuidor del Hydrosizer (SD-201A-B) ms 20 cm; la diferencia de carga entre los calculos de Jacobs Engineering y el presente, se debe a que Jacobs consider tubera de 10" de dimetro.

Se encontr que la velocidad crtica de sedimentacin es de 3.4 m/s 15%, la velocidad que alcanza el flujo de 770 m3/h en la tubera de 12" es de 2.93 m/s valor 14% menor a la velocidad crtica, que, aunque se encuentra dentro del margen de error, supone una mayor probabilidad de arenamiento de la lnea.

La carga dinmica se determin suponiendo un flujo de agua pura, para hacer la correccin de la curva de operacin del sistema se utiliz la informacin de la fig 1 de la pestaa "clculo BC-201A-B"; considerando una gravedad especfica de slido de 2.5 y una concentracin de 44% en peso, se determin un factor de correccin de carga igual a 0.757, con lo que se estim que la velocidad de rotacin para las bombas HM 300 C5 debera ser 615 RPM con un impulsor de 750 mm (29.5") de dimetro, para las *24" del impulsor actual se ocupan 650 RPM, velocidad menor a las 716 RPM que se obtienen con la relacin de poleas actual.

Para la bomba Thomas XM 250 la velocidad de rotacin debera ser 700 RPM con un impulsor de 660 mm (26") de dimetro, para las *24" del impulsor actual se necesitan 775 RPM, velocidad menor a las 654 RPM que se obtienen con la relacin de poleas actual.

NOTA: Las RPM con las que se comparan las obtenidas mediante el estudio son las que permiten las relaciones de poleas actuales, las RPM reales pudieran ser menores a estas dependiendo del estado de las poleas.
