The negative rule for Spanish

• You may have as many no’s, not’s or nones in Spanish but one negative word must come before the conjugated verb.

• No tengo nadie que me escribe.• Nadie me escribe.• No voy a la tienda nunca.• Nunca voy a la tienda.

Most of the affirmative words begin with the letter A in Spanish.

• Nada• Nadie• Ninguno, ningún (We don’t use a plural of• Ninguna nothing very often)
