My dad is a bricklayer
and he builds
houses.
My dad is a stone carver.
He cuts stones with a machine and
he builds houses with
them.
The woodcutter buys trees from the forest, cuts them and cleans them. Finally he sells the wood to make paper or furniture.
The farmer works in the
fields growing and selling food
like cereals, fruit and
vegetables. He/she uses machines and tractors to do
the work
This job consists of
working with a tractor. It is
funny for those who like
it, but they spend lots of hours sitting
down.
The forest ranger takes care of the forest from fire. He/she
protects animals,
flowers, plants and trees,
The cuttle breeder milks,
feeds and takes care of
the cows. They plant corn
and grass. They work everyday.
The bricklayer builds walls and
works a lot.
In Grilfar people work in farms.
They’ve got cows. Early in the
morning and in the evening they
milk the cows. Next day, a lorry carries the milk to the factory.
The cuttle breeder is a
man or a woman who earns
money from milk.
A farmer is a man who grows
plants like trees, lettuce, broccoli, etc. He also plants
inside the greenhouse.
The postman delivers
letters, news, packages… and he/she leaves them in the
mailbox.
In Monfero lot of people work as woodcutters to earn money. They send the wood to make
paper, furniture, etc. Their work is
too hard.
A farmer grows food:
lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots,
cabbage, corn, etc. Then
people cook it.
The caretaker rings the bell
when it is breaktime and
when we go back home. He helps teachers
making photocopies.
The woodcutter is
the person who cuts the wood
from the forest to sell
it. They use
dangerous tools to work.
