He was a wise man who invented beer.—Platon (c. 429–347 BC)
![Page 6: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
Etanol Anfipático: soluble en lipidos y agua.
![Page 7: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
En el estómago No necesita ser digerido. Se absorbe 20% del total. En 1 min llega al cerebro (estomago
vacío). Una parte es metabolizada (alcohol
deshidrogenasa). Hombres La comida enlentece la absorción. Estimula la secrecion de HCl.
![Page 8: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
![Page 9: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)

Produce radicales libres. Tambien metaboliza otras sustancias
toxicas como: Tylenol. Anfetaminas. Aspirina. Otros quimicos,

Consecuencias del metabolismo del alcohol
Give me a woman who loves beer and I will conquer the world.—Kaiser Wilhelm II (1859–1941)
![Page 20: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/20.jpg)
Acumulacion de H+
NADH + H
![Page 21: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/21.jpg)
![Page 22: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/22.jpg)
![Page 23: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/23.jpg)
Hipoglucemia Se bloquea la gluconeogenesis debido
a: Oxalacetato Malato Piruvato Lactato
![Page 24: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/24.jpg)
![Page 25: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/25.jpg)
Generar glucosa. Secretar albumina y fibrinogeno.
![Page 26: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/26.jpg)
![Page 27: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/27.jpg)
?Que pasa cuando es demasiada grasa?
La grasa ocluye el paso de sangre.
• Nutrientes y oxigeno
Muerte celular
• Hepatitis
Reemplazo de las células
• Cirrosis
?Solucion?

Autoestima incrementado Nariz grande Ictericia Voz ronca
Sudoracion Abdomen protruido
Vello pubico delgado
Testiculos encojidos
HemorroidesPiernas y brazos

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence?—Stephen Wright
![Page 32: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/32.jpg)
Vitaminas B9 (acido folico): mala absorcion debido a daño
en la mucosa. C :mala absorcion. El higado no la metaboliza. A: no tiene proteina transportadora, degradacion
incrementada, B-caroteno no se convierte. D: menor activacion. E: enzimas pancreaticas reducidas (necesarias
para su absorcion). Hierro: deficiencia. Otros: B6,B12, Tiamina, Niacina, Zinc, Magnesio,
Potasio, etc.

Dosis exageradas de alcohol
Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.—Attributed to Benjamin Franklin (1706–1790)
![Page 38: Metabolismo Del Alcohol y Alcoholismo](https://reader033.fdocumento.com/reader033/viewer/2022052307/5571fab8497959916992ed8d/html5/thumbnails/38.jpg)
Causa: Al bloquear laproduccion de glucosa el
cerebro no se puede nutrir. Hipoglusemia. Coma. Muerte.
