ALL is most common in childhood with a peak incidence at 2–5 years of age, and another peak in old age

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)

An acute form of leukemia, or cancer of the white blood cells, characterized by the overproduction and accumulation of cancerous, immature white blood cells- known as lymphoblasts.

In persons with ALL, lymphoblasts are overproduced in the bone marrow and continuously multiply, causing damage and death by inhibiting the production of normal cells—such as red and white blood cells and platelets—in the bone marrow and by spreading (infiltrating) to other organs.

Many kids might feel guilty, as if the cancer is somehow their fault. But today more than 80% of all children with cancer live 5 years or

more, finishing successful treatments and growing up just like everybody else.

We like to rebuild confidence, hope, and dreams through carefully crafted wigs designed especially for children currently being treated for cancer, burns, or alopecia.

Although we donate wigs , we also can custom make a wig specifically for your child completely free of charge. They are welcome to choose the color, style, and accessories of their choice.

Though losing hair is not usually health threatening, it can scar a

young child’s vulnerable self esteem by causing immense psychological

and emotional stress; not just to the patient, but also to the concerned

parents and siblings.

Hair loss in children can cause psychological stress to the parent and patient alike. Alopecia can be classified into congenital and acquired.

Alopecia AreataThis disease causes hair loss and often occurs in otherwise healthy people.

Not everyone loses all of the hair on the scalp or body. This happens to about 5 percent of people.Alopecia areata is considered an autoimmune disease, in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the hair follicles, the tiny cup-shaped structures from which hairs grow

While there is neither a cure for alopecia areata nor drugs approved for its treatment, some people find that medications approved for other purposes can help hair grow back temporarily.

We bring smiles to not only children, but to their families. The more positive energy we can give, the more hopeful families can be. We are here to encourage children to live life with a smile, shine bright, walk with their heads held high, and believe there is strength in beauty both inside and out.

Kids are very particular when it comes to wearing wigs and won't want to wear one if it feels unnatural or heavy, so we continuously search for the most natural looking hair of all types.

Just like an adult or teenager, a child has a visual picture in his or her mind of how they wish their hair to look and feel. The child's wig must not only look natural, but feel natural
