Twitter allows its users to send and read text based messages of up to 140 characters also known as 'tweet' Twitter lets their users connect to the lastest stories , opinions and news about what they find interesting. As well as following friends and accounts its users find compelling.

Twitter allows its users to share status and only 140 characters to write on their status

Twitter also allows its users to share pictures and videos. As well as having background picture.

It also allows their users to know about trending topics.

It also tells its users how many followers they have, how many tweets they tweeted and how many people their following.

It also has an information box where you can talk about yourself and your interests.

If you're celebrity or well known company like the BBC twitter verfies it making it easy for the fans to find them.

Wikipedia is a free website (encyclopedia) , written by the people who use it and edit content such as adding facts and information based on factual things. It allows you to easily access information making it easy when doing research. However, not everything written on wikipedia is true since it can be edited by anyone. You need be careful when researching.

Here we have a main reporter when the news comes on as well mise en sscene to set the scene (eg table, suit) .

Here we have a botton banner, this lets the viewers know about what else is going on.

Here we have someone being interviewed. the reporter doesn't need introduce as the audience will know his name from the title and text

Newspapers are laid out in order starting from the important things at the front of the page. This is done because it automatically grab the reader attention. Most articles have same layout which make it easy for their target audience to read. Most articles are written in columns.

Headline - Are large font, to grab the reader attention as well to let them know what the headline is about.

Sub-headings - sub headings are frequently used in articles , it is done in small font,this informs the reader the key points

about the story.

Photopgraphs - Take photos for the newspaper, it gives the reader an insight of what the article is about. (Beyonce)
