Event: Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Date: 06/08/16

Objective/Purpose: 1. Inculcating the feeling of working for a cause in the students. 2. Making the students understand the social values. 3. Helping the people by donating blood.

Remarks: The camp has been successfully done & 40 people donated the blood.

Purpose/ Objective: 1. Interaction of parents & teachers2. Discussion about the academic performance of student with their parents

Remarks/ Conclusion: 1. Around 50 Parents graced the occasion with their presence.2. Feedback about academic improvement was taken from parents.

Purpose/ Objective: 1. Training Students according to the needs of Automation industries. 2. Give students the broad understanding of various PLCs available

Remarks/ Conclusion:

1. Students were trained on PLCs of companies like Siemens, Alley Bradley2. Students gained the understanding of Automation practically3. The entire workshop enhanced the knowledge of Students & they enjoyed learning

Purpose/ Objective: To describe the significance of FACT controlled devices in our Modern Power Systems.

Remarks/ Conclusion: Operation of various Fact controlled Devices like Thyristor Controlled Switched Capacitance (TCSC), STATCOM, SVC was highlighted.

Purpose/ Objective: to understand the uses of compensating networks in the control system to obtain the desired performance of the system

Remarks/ Conclusion:1) Student had understood the various methods of compensation used for system performance improvement.
