2003: Taught English for young learners at the HillsideSchool of Athens, a private school with aim to maximizethe potential of the child with learning disabilities.

The young learners in each classroom are instructedusing multisensory learning strategies in astimulating academic environment.

2002 to 2004: Cooperated with different theatricalcompanies as well as the National Theatre of Greece as adramatologist and assistant director for the following playsLa Peste, by A. Camus, The Underground , by F. Dostoyevsky,Do you Love Me , by R. D. Laing.

At the same time gave lectures on the communicativetheories of translation (Peter Newmark theory) andpresented the translation difficulties between English andGreek in workshops.

1996 to 1997: Worked at the Body Shop of Athens, Greece,as environmental coordinator and translator. The position’smain task was to present the environmental policy of thecompany to franchisees.

1995 (July to October): Worked at the European Parliamentin Luxembourg as stagiaire and a free lancer translator.

1994 to 1995: Taught translation theory and practice at theBritish Council of Athens, Department of Translation.

1988 to 2007: Taught English as a foreign language to younglearners and adults in various private schools of Greece.

Since 1987 has been attending the TESOL seminars oncommunicative language teaching of English to foreigners.

1995: Attended various seminars and interactive workshopson teaching techniques at the British Council of Athens.

1999: Attended seminars on the preparation of the Diplomaof Translation, issued by the Institute of Linguists of England,at the Hellenic American Union in Athens, Greece.
