Contamos con una costa galardona-
da con Banderas Azules, Sistemas de
Calidad y Gestión Medioambiental
más exigentes, que ofrecen al visitan-
te: aguas cuidadas, limpieza de playas,
cómodos servicios y una amplia oferta
de actividades de ocio.
El Cap d´Or es quién resguarda al sur
la ensenada y la Playa El Portet, de
fina arena es pequeña y en forma de
concha. Al norte se encuentra Cala
Llebeig accesible solo por mar o por
el sendero local SL-CV 50. Ambas con
aguas cristalinas ideal para el baño y el
submarinismo.
Cerca de la bocana del Club Náuti-
co, encontramos Cala Portitxol, muy
apropiada para el buceo y la pesca.
A los pies del Castillo está Playa
l´Ampolla, la más concurrida, urbana
y extensa de las playas de arena. Está
reconocida con la Q de Calidad turís-
tica y es playa accesible.
Más al sur se sitúan “Les Platgetes”, dos
pequeñas calas que alternan zona de
arena y de roca, cuentan con un atracti-
vo paseo mirador con zona ajardinada y
aparcamiento.
A poca distancia comienzan los im-
presionantes acantilados. Por aquí se
sitúa la Cala l’Andragó. Sus rocas y la
profundidad de sus aguas transparen-
tes son perfectas para la práctica del
buceo. Un atractivo mirador domina la
cala ofreciendo una de las panorámi-
cas más fotografiadas de esta costa.
El litoral continúa abrupto, alcanza su
prolongación máxima en la punta de-
nominada “Punta de l´Estrella” por la
forma de brazo de estrella de mar. En
su otra vertiente se ubica la recóndita
y desconocida Cala Cap Blanc, tendrá
que dejar el vehículo y continuar an-
dando para visitarla.

El Cap d´Or watches over the south
of the cape and El Portet beach, a
small, shell-shaped beach with pow-
dery sand. To the north you’ll find the
Cala Llebeig, which is only accessible
from the sea or along a local pathway
(SL-CV 50).
Close to the entrance of the Club
Naútico you’ll find Cala Portitxol, a
great spot for diving and fishing.
The l’Ampolla Beach is overlooked by
the castle. This is the largest and most
popular urban beach. It has been rec-
ognised with the Q Tourist brand and is
an accessible beach.
A little to the south you’ll find Les
Platgetes, two little sand and rock
coves with an attractive promenade,
landscaped area and car park.
Not far away, spectacular cliffs rise up
from the sea. This is where you’ll find
Cala l’Andragó. The rocks and deep,
crystal clear water make this the per-
fect place for snorkelling and scuba
diving. There’s an attractive lookout
point that offers some of the most
photographed views on this coast.
This craggy coastline stretches as far
as the spot which is known as “Punta
de l´Estrella” because of its resem-
blance to the arm of a starfish. On
the other side you’ll find the remote,
unknown Cala Cap Blanc. If you want
to visit this cove you will have to park
your car and then walk down.

El verano es sin duda la mejor época para todo tipo de celebra-ciones y fiestas, ya que la tempe-ratura es agradable, los días son más largos y el ambiente reúne todas las condiciones exigibles para disfrutar del tiempo libre. En Teulada-Moraira todos estos as-pectos se reúnen con creces. Los visitantes que llegan hasta aquí pueden disfrutar de un clima per-fecto y multitud de actividades y fiestas que se preparan con la intención de disfrutar y, sobre todo, hacer disfrutar.Las fiestas de verano comien-zan con los Moros y Cristianos en Moraira, del 12 al 19 de Ju-nio. El origen de estas fiestas se remonta a la conmemoración de las luchas que mantuvieron los seguidores de la Cruz y de la Media Luna en el s.XIII por el control de estas tierras. Durante la celebración de estas fiestas, no hay que perderse el desembar-co nocturno de las tropas en la Playa de l’Ampolla y el Desfile de Gala , que tiene lugar el domin-go 17 por la tarde en las calles de Moraira, en el que se puede contemplar el lujo de los trajes y la espectacularidad de las com-parsas.
Las Fiestas Patronales de Mo-raira en honor a la Virgen de los Desamparados se celebran del 13 al 24 de Julio, en las que se
puede disfrutar de actos tradicio-nales como la Procesión Maríti-ma en honor a la Virgen del Car-men (patrona de los marineros) el 16 de julio, y los castillos de fuegos artificiales de los días 15 y 16 de julio, y els Bous a la Mar.La Fiesta dels Sants de Pedra se celebran del 28 de Julio al 3 de Agosto en la c/ Calvo Sote-lo de Teulada. Su celebración es en honor de los Santos Abdón y Senén, que son los que protegen a la campaña de recogida de la uva del mal tiempo y del grani-zo, asegurando así una buena recolección. Se realizan cenas populares en la calle, una misa de campaña, verbenas, toros y la fiesta del agua.
La Fiesta y Mercado Medie-val se celebra del 04 al 07 de Agosto. Teulada se transforma por completo, ya que no se trata solamente de un mercado me-dieval. Comienza con un pregón anunciando la fiesta y la presen-tación de la “Bandera de la Fes-ta”; la decoración de las calles, la música ambiental, las vestimen-tas medievales de los participan-tes crean el ambiente perfecto para trasladarnos varios siglos atrás. Se realiza también una re-presentación teatral con un des-file, actuaciones teatrales en las calles, conciertos y espectáculos de animación.

The summer is without doubt the best time for all kinds of ce-lebrations and festivals because the temperature is pleasant, the days are longer and the ambien-ce provides the best atmosphere for enjoying free time. Teulada-Moraira has all of theses aspects and more. The visitors who come here can enjoy a perfect climate with a multitude of ac-tivities and celebrations that are created for pure enjoyment.
The summer festivals begin with the Moors and Christians in Moraira, from the 12th to 19th of June. The origin of the-se festivities is to commemora-te the battles between the fo-llowers of the Cross ad the half moon during the XIII century for the control of these lands. During these celebrations, one shouldn’t miss the nigh time di-sembarking of the troops on the beach of L’ Ampolla and the Pa-rade which takes place on Sun-day June 17th in the evening, through the streets of Moraira. During the parade you can enjoy the splendour of the outfits and the parade groups.
The Patron Festivities of Mo-raira are in honour of the Vir-gin of the Dispossessed. They are celebrated from July 13th to 24th. During these days there
are many traditional ceremonies as fir example the Maritime Pro-cession in honour of the Virgin of Carmen (patron of the sailors) on July 16th, fireworks displays on July 15th and 16th and “Bulls in the sea”.The Fiesta dels Sants de la Pe-dra is celebrated from July 28th to August 3rd in Calvo So-telo Street in Teulada. The cele-bration is in honour of Saint Ab-dón and Senén who protect the harvesting of the grape from bad weather and hailstones. Street dinners, mass, dances, bulls and water games are carried out in the street.
The Medieval Festival and Fair is celebrated from the 4th to the 7th of August. Teulada be-comes transformed into a me-dieval town and market. It begins with a proclamation of the fes-tival and the presentation of the “Bandera de la Festa” (flag of the festival); the decoration of the streets, medieval music, the me-dieval outfits of the participants creates the perfect ambience to take us back in time to the me-dieval age. There is also a thea-tre representation with para-de, street theatre, concerts and shows.
El MOSCATELL, la uva de moscatel de Alejandría o moscatel romano es el cultivo tradicional de esta tie-rra, fuente de riqueza en el s. XIX con la elaboración de la uva pasa y que, con el paso del tiempo ha ido manteniendo su importancia para convertirse en una industria de ca-rácter familiar que presenta este excelente producto en las mesas españolas.
Esta dulce uva con sabor a medite-rráneo merece su fiesta, una fiesta única como único es el MOSCA-TELL. Una fiesta que celebra todo el municipio junto con los produc-tores de “raïm de moscatell” y todo aquel que quiera sumarse a esta exaltación.

DOLIA es una convocatoria que quie-re poner en valor la preservación del territorio y el paisaje a través de la uva Moscatel de Alejandría, cuyo cultivo ha sido la principal actividad agrícola de la zona, su base económica durante mu-chos siglos y fuente de una rica tradi-ción cultural que se remonta a épocas ancestrales. Dolia es una mirada al territorio desde el Auditori Teulada Moraira (ATM), un enclave donde arquitectura y paisaje fluyen en un sinuoso diálogo paisajís-tico con sabor y color mediterráneo. En esta VI edición Dolia continúa po-niendo el acento en los productos con denominación de Origen (D.O) como expresión del patrimonio gastronó-mico de la región. Este año el invita-do es el turrón de Jijona y de Alican-te (Indicación Geográfica Protegida, IGP), que junto a la uva moscatel de Teulada Moraira, maridarán en una re-ceta especialmente creada por Kiko Moya, chef del restaurante L’Escaleta
de Cocentaina (1* Michelín 3 soles Repsol), para Dolia. Moya realzará un showcooking en el escenario del ATM en el que explicará las claves de su co-cina y su apuesta por los productos de proximidad. También contaremos en el escenario de Dolia del chef Manuel Alonso del restaurante Casa Manolo de Daimús, (1*Michelín. 1 sol Repsol), que desa-rrollará una fusión muy especial: un ensamblaje entre dos grandes disci-plinas artísticas: la escultura y la gas-tronomía, ambas, expresión de cultura Mediterránea. Por todo ello, se ha in-vitado a Quico Torres, reconocido es-cultor alicantino, que presentará una escultura creada para la ocasión, rea-lizada en Krion, un material de nueva generación desarrollado por Porcela-nosa. A través de formas sugerentes y dinámicas, Quico Torres plasma en estas piezas la elegancia y serenidad que caracterizan sus obras. Manuel Alonso reinterpretará en directo, de-lante del público, este particular uni-verso estético en clave gastronómica. Creará en exclusiva para la ocasión,
un plato especial en el que fusionará ambas disciplinas. Dos artistas unidos por el Mediterráneo. Arte que se come. Comida que es arte. En esta edición de Dolia, también contaremos con la presencia del bar-tender Iván Talens, que presentará un nuevo cocktail elaborado con mos-catel y almendra. Otro de los atracti-vos de este año será un taller infantil participativo dirigido por los dos chefs invitados para acercar el producto del mar y sus posibilidades culinarias a los más pequeños, todo ello de manera divertida y cómplice. La velada estará amenizada con músi-ca en directo en los jardines del ATM, donde los asistentes podrán degustar los vinos de la Bodega Cooperativa San Vicente de Teulada, y las referencias de la D.O.P. de Alicante, presentadas por su Consejo Regulador, así como un interesante surtido de productos gas-tronómicos de la mano de la barra de Toni Cantó que esa noche se traslada-rá al Auditori Teulada Moraira.

DOLIA sets out to encourage conserva-tion of the land and landscapes through the local Muscat of Alexandria grapes, the area’s main crop and a source of wealth for many centuries, with a rich cultural tradition dating to ancient times. Dolia looks at the territory from the Au-ditori Teulada Moraira (ATM), a place where architecture and landscape flow in sinuous dialogue with Mediterranean flavour and colour. At the 6th edition of Dolia, we will continue focus on products with our local Designation of Origin as an expression of our region’s culinary legacy. This year, our guest of honour is turrón (nougat) from Jijona and Alicante PGI (Protected Geographi-cal Indication) which, together with the Muscat of Alexandria grapes from Teulada, will combine in a recipe cre-ated especially for Dolia by Kiko Moya, chef from the restaurant L’Escaleta de
Concentaina (One Michelin star and three Repsol suns). Moya will perform a cooking show on the stage at the ATM during which he will talk about the es-sence of his cooking and his commit-ment to local products. Chef Manuel Alonso from the Casa Manolo de Daimús restaurant (one Michelin star, one Repsol sun) will also take to the stage to demonstrate a very special fusion, the coming together of two great artistic disciplines, sculpture and gastronomy, both expressions of Mediterranean culture. Quico Torres, the renowned Alicante sculptor, has also been invited along to present a sculp-ture created for the occasion, made in Krion, a new generation material de-veloped by Porcelanosa. Using sugges-tive, dynamic shapes, Quico Torres has infused these pieces with his hallmark elegance and serenity. Manuel Alonso will give a live, public demonstration of this particular aesthetic universe in the key of gastronomy. In honour of this
event, he has created a special dish that fuses both disciplines. Two artists united by the Mediterranean. Edible art. Food that is art. At this edition of Dolia, we will also be welcoming bartender Iván Talens, who will present a new cocktail made with moscatel and almonds. Another of the attractions this year will be an interac-tive workshop for children run by two guest chefs who will teach our young-sters about seafood and its culinary possibilities in an enjoyable, approach-able way. Attendees will also enjoy life music in the ATM gardens while they taste wines from the Bodega Cooperativa San Vi-cente de Teulada, references from the D.O.P. Alicante presented by their Regu-latory Council and an interesting selec-tion of culinary products from the Toni Cantó bar, installed for the evening in the Auditori Teulada Moraira.

Con una altura de 11 m., su misión era vigilar la costa ante la llegada de barcos piratas.

Auditorio Teulada Moraira Inaugurado en el año 2011. Obra del reconocido
arquitecto Francisco Mangado y se sitúa en el pun-to más alto del núcleo urbano de Teulada.

Iglesia Parroquial de Santa Catalina Mártir
S.XVI/XVIIFue construida como iglesia-fortaleza. El templo ori-ginal, renacentista, consta de una nave única orien-
tada hacia el levante con cuatro tramos, altares entre contrafuertes, bóveda de medio punto y un ábside
poligonal de cinco lados con bóveda estrellada, que en la clave tiene el escudo de armas de la parroquia.
Es ampliado posteriormente (s.XVIII) en forma de cruz latina y también se cambia la orientación del altar
mayor. La iglesia contiene un órgano de estilo román-tico de gran importancia. Junto a la Iglesia se sitúa la Torre-Campanario de 30 m. de altura. Localización:

Auditorium Teulada MorairaOfficially opened in 2011, it was designed by the well known architect Francisco Mangado and is locates at the highest point of the town in Teulada.The Auditorium (Auditori) in Teulada Moraira is a high priority for the Town Council in terms of fostering our own culture and cultures from all over the world.
Parochial Church ofSanta Catalina Mártir16th/17th centuryBuild as a church-fortress. The ancient temple, in renaissance style consists of a single nave facing east with four sections, altars between buttresses, a barrel vault and a five sided polygonal apse with a stellar vault, which bears the parish’s coat of arms. The first alteration (18th century) represents an attempt to form the shape of a Latin cross and the orientation of the great altar also changes. SAILOR STYLE FISH BALL SOUP
Preparación de la pelota:Pasamos el pescado en la picadora de carne, aderezamos y mezclamos con todos los ingredientes, reposar 2 horas en frio, mientras preparamos el fondo, formar y cocinar lentamente en el fondo
Preparación del fondo: Hacer un fumet de pescado clásico. En una cacerola aparte,
preparamos un sofrito con la cebolla, el ajo, el tomate y el pimentón, añadimos el fumet, dejamos 20 minutos hervir y ponemos a punto de curry azafrán, sal y pimenta. Cocinamos 20 min a fuego lento las pelotas, servir decorando con los chips de remolacha y la escarola
To make the fish balls:Place the fish in the food processor, add all the seasoning ingredients. Refrigerate for two hours while you prepare the stock. Make the balls and cook slowly in the stock.
Prepare the stock: Make a classic fish fumet. In a separate saucepan, sauté
the onion, garlic tomato and paprika. Add the fumet, boil for 20 minutes and add the curry, saffron, salt and pepper. Simmer the fish balls in the stock over a low heat for 20 minutes. Serve garnished with the beetroot chips and endive.
