Introduction Every school year, all the pupils work two
famous artist. Vincent Van Gogh is the second painter studied. The pupils know the most important features of
his life. It is going to be implemented with 4th graders
(10 pupils)
Learning objectives Recognize “The sunflowers” picture Experiment with color Make new creations inspired by the works of
the author

Activity 1: Life’s work Description: Review the most important works of the author. Emphasizing the
“Sunflowers” work. Time: 10 minutes Materials:

Activity 2: Sunflowers
Description: Students will create expressionistic sunflowers with crayons
Time: 40 minutes Material:
• Crayons• Brushes• Pencils• Rubbers• Blue cardboard• Water and glasses• Varnish
Activity 3: Brainstorming Description: All together discuss their works: how did they doing, the
colors, the shapes, the feelings (easy, difficult, funny, bored, etc) Time: 10 minutes Material:
• Drawing
Reflections
The firts activity we had to do it fast because we didn’t have time to do the painting
All sessions will follow the same methodology: explain the activity and freedom to do it.
Listen to music when we painting or creating: to be relax and quiet. Children were able participate in all the activities. You could see some of the final paintings, there are notable and
excellent works
