The current chairman of the Tata group
is Ratan Tata, who took over from J. R. D. Tata in

InIndia till 2004-05, Tata motors had 3 plants atJamshedpur, Pune and Lucknow with aggregate
manufacturing capacity of 5,14,500 vehicles
established over a period of 60 yrs. Tata motors have expanded their manufacturing
capacity, hence have produced 12,75,000 vehicles.
Tata motors have ventured into foreign
development which led to development of Tatamotors Thailand ltd. In South Korea and Thailand ,Tata Hispano Carrocera S.A. in Spain and Morocco.Also, Jaguar and Land Rover in UK.

countries in which we operate. These risks primarily relate to
fluctuations of Pound to US Dollar, Japanese Yen and Euro,
