What is christmas?• Christmas is a traditional day that is one of
the most important parties for the religion.
Countries• The countries that celebrate Christmas are:- Germany, Australia, Argentina, Belgium, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile,Cyprus, Colombia, Costa Rica, Egypt,The Savior, Spain, U.S.A., Finlandia, Francia, Greece, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, India,England, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Panamá, Perú, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic.
Traditions• There are some traditions like:- Decorating the Christmas tree.- Opening the presents.- Spending this great time with your family.- Singing carols.
New year’s eve• The New Year’s Eve is the 31st of December,
you eat twelve grapes, one ring is one grape.• When the bell tolls twelve times is the next
year. It’s tradition to make a wish with your family.
Santa Claus• He comes the 24th Decemberin a sleigh with
reindeers.• He is a person that brings presents and he
puts them under the Christmas tree but only if you were a good boy.
The Three Arabian Kings
• The three Arabian Kings are three men who go to Belén to see Jesús when he was baby.
• They bring presents and they put them under the Christmas tree, they go in the night, they go on camels, and the kids usually put some water and some cookies.
Food• In Christmas you have a special dinner, you
eat the things that you usually like.- The things that we eat:- Christmas cake/muffins.- Yule log.- Soup.- Prawns.
Christmas Carols• In Christmas some people sing carols, the
most popular are:- Jingle Bells.- All I want for Christmas.- Silence Night.
