SEGURIDAD EN EL ÁREA DE TRABAJOMantenga el área de trabajo limpia y bien ilu-minada. SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICALa clavija de la herramienta eléctrica debe coincidir con receptáculo. No modificar nunca la clavija de ninguna manera. La ropa suelta, las joyas o el pelo largo pueden ser co-gidos en las piezas en movimiento.Si hay dispositivos para la conexión de medios de extracción y recolección de polvo, asegúre-se de que éstos estén conectados y se usen co-rrectamente. El uso de estos dispositivos puede reducir los peligros relacionados con el polvo.

IMPORTANTE: Este aparato no se destina para utilizarse por personas (incluyendo niños) cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales o menta-les sean diferentes o estén reducidas, o carez-can de experiencia o conocimiento, a menos que dichas personas reciban una supervisión o capacitación para el funcionamiento del apa-rato por una persona responsable de su segu-ridad. MANUAL DE USUARIOEl presente manual es parte integral de la maquina, por lo que deberá conservarse para futuras consultas. Es indispensable leerlo aten-tamente antes de su instalación/uso.

NOTA: Los materiales que costituyen el emba-laje no son nocivos para el ambiente; sin em-bargo, deben ser reciclados o eliminados respe-tando la normatividad nacional vigente

INFORMACIÓN DE LA HERRAMIENTAEsta máquina ha sido prevista para uso indi-vidual, destinada a la limpieza de vehículos, máquinas, embarcaciones menores, obras de albañilería, etc., a fin de eliminar la suciedad persistente con agua limpia y detergentes quí-micos biodegradables.

El lavado de motores de vehículos está permi-tido sólo a condición de que el agua sucia sea eliminada según lo establecido por las normas vigentes:-Temperatura de agua en entrada: véase placa de matrícula con los datos que se encuentra aplicada en la máquina.-Presión de agua en entrada: menor a 10 bares.-Temperatura ambiente de funcionamiento, superior a 0°C, sólo para modelos de uso do-méstico.

USO INAPROPIADOSe prohíbe el uso a personas inexpertas que no hayan leído, o no hayan comprendido las ins-trucciones presentadas en este manual.Está prohibido alimentar la máquina con líqui-dos inflamables, explosivos o tóxicos.Está prohibido utilizar la máquina en atmósfe-ras potencialmente inflamables o explosivas.Está prohibido utilizar accesorios no originales o no especificados para el modelo.Está prohibido realizar alteraciones de la má-quina; el hacerle modificaciones al producto provoca la invalidación de la Declaración de Conformidad y exime al fabricante de toda res-ponsabilidad civil y penal.

ENSAMBLE E INSTALACIÓNENSAMBLE

ATENCIÓN: Todas las operaciones de insta-lación y montaje deben ser efectuadas con la máquina desconectada de la red eléctrica.

1. Inserte el man-go a la parte su-perior de la hidro-lavadora e instale los tornillos que fueron incluidos dentro del empa-que.

En seguida inserte el segundo ele-mento como se muestra en la ilus-tración.

2. Instale la lanza con la pistola.

3. Conecte la pis-tola y la mangue-ra.

4. Realice la co-nección de la man-guera con el tan-que del producto como se muestra en las siguientes ilustraciones.

CONECCIÓN A LA ALIMENTACIÓN DE AGUA IMPORTANTE: Sólo agua filtrada o limpia

debe ser usada para el mejor desempeño de la herramienta. El suministro de agua desde el grifo debe garantizar un suministro igual al caudal de la bomba. Coloque la máquina lo más cercano del sistema de suministro de agua como sea posible.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓNREGULACIÓN DEL CABEZALEl flujo de agua se ajusta regulando con el ca-bezal de la lanza.

REGULACIÓN DEL DETERGENTEEl flujo del detergente se puede ajustar con la perilla de ajuste de suministro de detergente.

REGULACIÓN DE LA PRESIÓN DEL DETERGENTEEstablezca la peri-lla en la posición "−" y de ahi gire la perilla para adecuar un flujo de suministro de detergente.

AJUSTE DE LA PRESIÓNLa perilla de regulación se utiliza para ajustar la presión de trabajo. La presión se muestra en el manómetro y así será más fácil establecerlo.

OPERACIÓNEncienda la herramienta. Establezca el inte-rruptor de encendido en la posición "|".a) Encienda el motor.b) Prepare el motor para su encendido.

El interruptor de encendido cuenta con una luz piloto que se enciende cuando el interruptor se activa en la posición de encendido.

MUY IMPORTANTE:LA HIDROLAVADORA DEBE MANTENERSE EN UNA POSICIÓN HORIZONTAL (RECOSTADA) DURANTE LA OPERACIÓN, ASEGÚRESE DE MANTENERLA EN LA POSICIÓN QUE SE MUES-TRA EN LA ILUSTRACIÓN.

ADVERTENCIA: Antes de encender el pro-ducto asegúrese que la manguera que alimen-ta la hidrolavadora se encuentra conectada apropiadamente; el uso de la herramienta sin agua podría provocar daños internos; asegúre-se de no cubrir las rendijas de ventilación de la hidrolavadora si esta se encuentra en ope-ración.El metodo de encendido que le corresponde a este producto (motor TRIFÁSICO) es de la si-guiente manera: Encienda el motor y pongalo a funcionar por un periodo corto de tiempo, y verifique que el motor se encuentra girando en el sentido correcto.

IMPORTANTE: Si el ventilador del motor se encuentra girando hacia el lado contrario de las manecillas del reloj, cambie dos de los 3 cables que indican, trifásico (L1, L2 y L3) en la clavija de conexión.

ENCENDIENDO LA HIDROLAVADORA1. Abra la llave de agua al máximo.2. Libere el seguro del gatillo de la pis-tola.3. Presione el gatillo durante algunos se-gundos y en seguida presione el interrup-tor de encendido.Modelos TSS: Los modelos TSS tienen como característica, la interrupción automática del flujo del agua:- cuando el gatillo de la pistola se suelta, la presión dinámica apaga automáticamente el motor eléctrico;- cuando el gatillo de la pistola se presiona, la caída de presión enciende automáticamente el motor y la presión se restablece con un peque-ño retraso;- si el sistema TSS (total stop system) funciona correctamente, las operaciones de presionar y soltar del gatillo deben efectuarse entre un lapso inferior a 4 o 5 segundos.NOTA: Con la máquina en funcionamiento y para evitar daños en la máquina no interrumpa el chorro de agua por un periodo superior a 10 minutos cada vez.

DETENIENDO LA HIDROLAVADORA1. Establezca el interruptor en la posición "0" de apagado.2. Presione el gatillo de la pistola y descargue la presión residual de la manguera.3. Coloque de nuevo el seguro del gatillo.

REESTABLECIENDO EL FUNCIONAMIENTO1. Libere el gatillo de la pistola2. Presione el gatillo y descargue la presión de aire que se encuentre dentro de la manguera.

3. Establezca el interruptor en la posición de encendido.

ALMACENAMIENTO1. Establezca el interruptor en la posición de apagado.2. Desconecte de la fuente de poder.3. Cierre la llave del agua.4. Libere la presión residual de la pistola hasta que el agua haya salido de la boquilla.5. Drene el depósito del detergente.6. Coloque el seguro del gatillo.

LLENADO Y USO DEL DETERGENTECuando utilice detergente, la boquilla debe mantenerse en posición "−".Llene el tanque con detergente altamente bio-degradable.

PROCEDIMIENTO RECOMENDADO DE USODisuelva la suciedad aplicando el detergente mezclado con agua sobre la superficie seca.Cuando trabaje sobre superficies verticales, opere desde la base hacia arriba.Permita que el detergente actue sobre la base por 1 o 2 minutos sin permitir que la super-ficie se seque. Comenzando desde la base use el chorro de la lanza a una distancia mínima de 30 cm, comenzando por abajo. Evíte que el agua que vaya enjuagando escurra sobre las superficies no lavadas.

MANTENIMIENTOTodo servicio de mantenimiento que no se in-dique en este apartado debe ser llevado a cabo por personal autorizado en un centro de ser-vicio.

ADVERTENCIA: Siempre desconecte la he-rramienta de la fuente de poder antes de reali-zar cualquier tipo de mantenimiento.

LIMPIANDO LA BOQUILLADesmontar la lanza de la pistola.Elimine la suciedad en el agujero de la boqui-lla de la lanza usando la herramienta de lim-pieza del cabezal.

LIMPIANDO EL FILTROLimpie el filtro de succión y el filtro del deter-gente una vez cada 50 hrs de uso.

DESATASCANDO EL MOTOREn caso de interrupciones prolongadas, sedi-mentos de cal pueden provocar que el motor se detenga.

SOLUCIONADOR DE PROBLEMASLA BOMBA NO ALCANZA UNA PRESIÓN ADECUADABoquilla desgastada: Reemplace la boquilla.Filtro de agua sucio: Limpie el filtro.Alimentación agua insuficiente: Abra por com-pleto el grifo.Succión de aire al sistema: Verifique que todas las conexiones se encuentren bien apretadas.Aire en la bomba: Apague la máquina y ac-cionar la pistola hasta obtener la salida de un chorro continuo. BAJA DE PRESIÓN DURANTE EL USOAspiración de agua desde un depósito exter-no: Conecte la máquina a la red hidráulica.Temperatura excesiva agua en entrada: Reduz-ca la temperatura.Boquilla obstruida: Limpie la boquilla.

SI el motor enciende y no se vuelve a encender durante la operación, espere de 2 a 3 minutos antes de encender la herramienta nuevamente (la funcion de sobrecarga se ha activado). Si el problema es recurrente a más de una vez, con-tacte su centro de servicio más cercano.

Make sure to pay special attention to the safety rules and indi-cations, plus all the warnings and cautions of this manual.

WARNING: Read and understand all in-structions. Failure to follow all indications list-ed below, may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious personal injury.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

WORK AREA• Keep your work area clean and well lit. Clut-tered benches and dark areas may cause acci-dents.• Do not operate power tools in explosive at-mospheres, such as in the presence of flam-mable liquids, gases or dust. Some power tools create sparks which may provoke fire.• Keep away observers, children and visitors while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

ELECTRIC SAFETY• Double insulation eliminates the need for the three wire grounded power cord and ground-ed power supply system.• Avoid the body contact with grounded sur-faces such as pipes, radiators and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.• Don’t expose power tools to rain or wet con-ditions. The precense of water into power tools will increase the risk of electric shock.• Do not abuse of the power cord. Never use the power cord to carry the tool and do not pull the plug off the outlet. Keep the cable away of heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Replace damaged cords immediately. Dam-aged cords increase the risk of electric shock.

PERSONAL SAFETY• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool.

Don’t use the tool if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of unattention while operating pow-er tools may cause a serious personal injury.• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away of moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.• Avoid an accidental starting. Be sure that the switch is OFF before plugging in. Carrying tools with the finger on the switch or plug in the tool switch in ON may cause accidents.• Remove the adjusting keys or wrenches be-fore turning the tool on. A wrench or a key that is left close to a rotating part of the tool may provoke a personal injury.• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper footing and bal-ance enables better control of the tools on un-expected situations.• Use safety equipment. Always wear eye pro-tection. Dust mask, nonskid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for ap-propriate conditions.• Before connecting the tool to a power source (receptacle, outlet, etc.) be sure that the volt-age supplied is the same as that one specified on the nameplate of the tool. To use a not specified voltage may cause a serious injury to the user as well as damage the tool.

This preventive safety measures reduce the risk of accidental starting of the tool.• When the power tool is not in use, store it out of the reach of children, and do not al-low individuals who are not familiar with the power tool or these instructions to operate it. Power tools are dangerous in the hands on un-trained users.• Maintain the power tool. Check for misalign-ment or binding of moving parts, broken parts, and any other condition that may affect the operation of the power tool. If it is damaged, have it repaired before using. PACKAGEThe appliance is delivered partially assembled in a cardboard box. NOTE: The packaging materials are not envi-ronmental pollutants but must still be recycled or disposed of in compliance with the relevant legislation in the country of use.

PRESSURE WASHER INFORMATIONThis appliance has been designed for individ-ual use for the cleaning of vehicles, machines, boats, masonry, etc, to remove stubborn dirt using clean water and biodegradable chemical detergents.

Vehicle engines may be washed only if the dirty water is disposed of as per regulations in force:- Intake water temperature: see data plate on the appliance.

- Intake water pressure: below 10 bar.- Operating ambient temperature over 0°C in accordance with standard EN 60335-2-79/A1 only for domestic model.

IMPROPER USEUse by unskilled persons or those who have not read and understood the instructions in the manual is forbidden. The introduction of inflammable, explosive and toxic liquids into the appliance is prohibited.

Use of the appliance in a potentially inflam-mable or explosive atmosphere is forbidden.The use of non-original spare parts and any other spare parts not specifically intended for the model in question is prohibited.

All modifications to the appliance are prohib-ited. Any modifications made to the appliance shall render the Declaration of Conformity null and void and relieve the manufacturer of all liability under civil and criminal law.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATIONASSEMBLY

WARNING: All installation and assembly op-erations must be performed with the machine disconnected from the mains power supply.

1. Insert the han-dle to the top of the washer and install the screws that were includ-ed in the package.Then insert the second element as shown in the illus-tration.

2. Install the lance with gun.

3. Connect the gun and hose.

4. Make the con-nection of the hose with the product tank as shown in the illus-trations.

WATER SUPPLY CONECTION IMPORTANT: Only clean or filtered water

should be used for intake. The delivery of the water intake tap should be equal to that of pump capacity.

ADJUSTMENTSADJUSTING THE SPRAY NOZZLE Water flow is adjusted by regulating the noz-zle.

ADJUSTING THE DETERGENTDetergent flow is adjusted using the regulator.

ADJUSTING THE DETERGENT PRESSURESet the adjustable nozzle on "−" to deliver de-tergent at the correct pressure.

ADJUSTING THE PRESSUREThe regulator is used to adjust the working pressure. The pressure is shown on the pressure gauge (where fitted).

OPERATIONTurn the tool ON. Set the power switch in the "| " position.a) Start the engine.b) Prepare the engine for starting.

The power switch has a pilot light, is lit when the switch is activated on the ON position.

VERY IMPORTANT:THE PRESSURE WASHER SHOULD BE KEPT IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION DURING THE OPERA-TION, BE SURE TO KEEP IN POSITION SHOWN IN FIGURE.

WARNING: Before starting up the appliance check that the water supply hose is connected properly; use of the appliance without water will damage it; do not cover the ventilation grilles when the appliance is in use.On three-phase models for professional use, at first use start the appliance for a very short time to check that the motor is running in the correct direction.

IMPORTANT: If the motor fan is turning anti-clockwise, exchange two of the three phase wires (L1,L2,L3) in the electrical plug.

STARTING THE PRESSURE WASHER1. Turn on the water supply tap fully.2. Release the safety catch.3. Depress the gun trigger for a few seconds and start up the appliance using the starter device.TSS models: TSS models with automatic deliv-ery has flow cut-off system;- when the gun trigger is released the dynamic pressure automatically cuts out the motor;- when the gun trigger is depressed the auto-matic drop in pressure starts the motor and the pressure is restored after a very slight delay;- if the TSS is to function correctly all gun re-leasing and depressing operations must be per-formed at intervals of less than 4-5 sec.NOTE: To prevent damage to the appliance, when running do not stop the water jet for more than 10 minutes at a time.

STOPPING THE APPLIANCE1. Set the starter device switch on "OFF".2. Depress the gun trigger and discharge the residual pressure inside the hoses.3. Engage the gun safety catch.

RESTARTING1. Release the safety catch.2. Depress the gun trigger and discharge the residual air inside the hoses.3. Set the starter device on "ON".

STORAGE1. Switch the appliance "OFF".2. Remove the plug from the socket.3. Turn off the water supply tap.4. Discharge the residual pressure from the gun until all the water has come out of the nozzle.5. Drain the detergent tank.6. Engage the gun safety catch.

REFILLING AND USING DETERGENTWhen using detergent, the adjustable nozzle must be set on "−". Fill the tank with highly degradable detergent.

RECOMMENDED CLEANING PROCEDUREDissolve dirt by applying the detergent mixed with water to the surface while still dry.When dealing with vertical surfaces work from the bottom upwards.

Leave the detergent to act for 1-2 minutes but do not allow the surface to dry. Starting from the bottom, use the high pressure jet at a mini-mum distance of 30 cm. Do not allow the rinse water to run onto unwashed surfaces.

MAINTENANCEAny maintenance operations not covered by this chapter should be carried out by an Au-thorized Service Center.

WARNING: Always disconnect the plug from the power socket before carrying out any work on the appliance.CLEANING THE NOZZLEDisconnect the lance from the nozzle.Remove any dirt deposits from the nozzle hole us-ing the tool.CLEANING THE FILTERClean the suction filter and the detergent filter after every 50 hours of operation.UNJAMMING THE MOTORIn case of lengthy stoppages, limescale sedi-ments may cause the motor to seize. To unjam the motor, turn the drive shaft with a tool.

TROUBLESHOOTINGPUMP DOES NOT REACH WORKING PRESSURENozzle worn: Replace nozzle.Water filter fouled: Clean filter.Water supply pressure low: Turn on water sup-ply tap fully.Air being sucked into system: Check tightness of hose fittings.Air in pump: Switch off the appliance and keep depressing and releasing the gun trigger until the water comes out in a steady flow. Switch the appliance back on again.Adjustable nozzle not positioned correctly: Turn the adjustable nozzle (+).

PRESSURE DROPS DURING USEWater intake from external tank: Connect ap-pliance to the mains water supply.Intake water too hot: Reduce temperature.Nozzle clogged: Clean nozzle.

MOTOR “SOUNDS” BUT FAILS TO STARTInsufficient power supply: Check that the volt-age of the mains power supply line is the same as that on the plate.

Voltage loss due to use of extension cable: Check characteristics of extension cable. Appliance not used for a long period of time: Contact your nearest authorized service center.Problems with TSS device: Contact your near-est Authorized Service Center.

MOTOR FAILS TO STARTNo electrical power: Check that the plug is firmly in the socket and that the mains voltage supply is present.Problems with TSS device: Contact your near-est Authorized Service Center.Appliance not used for a long period of time: Using the tool unjam the motor from the hole at the rear of the appliance (in models with this feature).
