En el 2018, la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo (UNACH) será sede del sexto congreso ecuatoriano de Tecnologías de

Información y Comunicación TIC.EC.

Este evento reúne a investigadores, profesionales, estudiantes y otros participantes, relacionados con las tecnologías de información y comunicación y la aplicación en cada uno de sus campos de estudio, nacionales e internacionales, por 3 días (21, 22 y 23 de noviembre de 2018) con una agenda de talleres, conferencias, jornadas paralelas, presentaciones de resultados de investigación, posters, reuniones y otros espacios de convergencia

de conocimiento.

In 2018, the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo (UNACH) will host the sixth Ecuadorian Congress of Information and

Communication Technologies TIC.EC.

This event brings together researchers, professionals, students, and other participants, related to information and communication technologies and the application in each of their �elds of study, national and international, for 3 days (21, 22 and 23 November 2018), with an agenda of workshops, conferences, parallel sessions, presentations of research results, posters, meetings, and other areas of knowledge

convergence.

El sexto encuentro TIC.EC 2018, busca ser una instancia de integración, que genere espacios para que investigadores, profesionales, estudiantes y gestores de tecnologías de información y experticia en diferentes áreas del conocimiento compartan buenas prácticas, lecciones aprendidas y establezcan iniciativas de colaboración buscando sinergias a través de la formación de grupos estratégicos de trabajo.

El encuentro anual TIC.EC está organizado por la Corporación Ecuatoriana de Desarrollo (CEDIA) y por la universidad an�trión. En el

2018: Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo.

The TIC.EC annual meeting is organized by the Ecuadorian Development Corporation (CEDIA) and the host university. In 2018: Universidad

Nacional de Chimborazo.

The sixth TIC.EC 2018 meeting seeks to be a place of integration, to generate spaces for researchers, professionals, students, and managers for information, technology, and expertise in di�erent �elds, to share good practices, lessons learned, and establish collaborative initiatives seeking synergies through the formation of strategic work groups.

El evento reúne, año a año, a más de 400 investigadores, profesionales, estudiantes (entre otros) relacionados con el área de TI, la academia e investigación en general, creando una oportunidad para conocer los avances y tendencias en estas líneas, así como promover los productos y servicios de las empresas auspiciantes y establecer contactos de forma fácil y efectiva para la generación de convenios y proyectos de investigación.

The event gathers, year after year, more than 400 researchers, professionals, students, (among others) related to IT, academia, and research in general, creating an opportunity to know the advances and trends in these �elds, as well as promote the products and services of the sponsoring companies and establish contacts in an easy and e�ective way for generating agreements and research projects.

El encuentro se convierte en un espacio idóneo para que empresas u organizaciones relacionadas con las TIC, la tecnología en general, la academia, recursos bibliográ�cos, software y sistemas, entre otras. Es un lugar ideal para que empresas nacionales e internacionales, promocionen sus productos y servicios. Es, además, una oportunidad para captar nuevos aliados y aportar efectivamente al desarrollo de la academia y la investigación en el Ecuador.
