El Art. 2.518 afirma: “La propiedad del suelo se extiende a toda la

profundidad y al espacio aéreo sobre el suelo en líneas

perpendiculares. Comprende todos los objetos que se encuentran

bajo el suelo, como los tesoros y las minas, salvo las modificaciones

dispuestas por leyes especiales sobre ambos objetos. El propietario

es dueño exclusivo del espacio aéreo; puede extender en él sus

construcciones, aunque quiten al vecino la luz, las vistas u otras

ventajas, y puede también demandar la demolición de las obras del

vecino que a cualquier altura avancen sobre ese espacio”.

• This situation is a product of exclusionary land policies, the existence of incomplete and inappropriate 2D cadastres and weak land registries.
