GOD’S TIMEFue en el tiempo de Dios que se cumplió la promesa de la sal-vación, no en nuestro tiempo. Abraham y Sara recibieron la prome-sa de que tendrían tantos descendientes como estrellas había en el cielo. Cuando se cumplió el tiempo, tuvieron un hijo: Isaac. Llen-os de fe, todos esperaron a que se cumplieran las promesas de Dios. A pesar de los obstáculos, María, José, Simeón y Ana vieron al Niño Jesús, el Dios que vive, el Niño que sería la gloria de Dios y la luz de las naciones. Dios nos da el tiempo que necesitemos para seguir a Jesús y tener fe en el Salvador.

In God’s own good time, not ours, the promise of salvation is fulfilled. Abra-ham and Sarah were promised a land and as many descendants as there are stars in the sky. Finally they received a son, Isaac, and his aged mother laughed at the very idea of him. They all lived out their lives in expectant faith that the Lord’s promise would be kept. Joseph, Mary, Simeon and Anna saw the infant Jesus who, despite all obstacles, would be a light to enlighten the nations and the glory of the people Israel. God still takes time to give us time to follow Jesus and to place faith in the Savior.
